Over time my writing has turned to this niche/genre. The themes and focuses of my work before this contained qualities/themes commonplace in cyberpunk that I'd scene examples in videogames and films.
It wasn't until reading works by authors such as William Gibson that I'd found a genre that really helped realise my own work and what I wanted it to say.
So, here are some resources that I find helpful when writing my own fiction/screenplays. I'll update the list when I find more interesting things.

Google is your friend.
There are loads of cyberpunk cityscapes, costumes and cool tech to look at. Great place to start your search and find a visual style.

A really great site and a definite must for someone wanting to get to grips with writing for general sci-fi. Due to the fact that a lot of the tech and discussions on the site deal with burgeoning and future technology it's a really great resource.
I find that the website helps you think of the impacts of certain technological advancements and ONE article from this site could be something that you base a whole piece of work around. Really interesting.

Obviously influences come from everywhere, but I found that I could extrapolate the most from the literature that I've read. Here's my favourite cyberpunk fiction.
The Sprawl Trilogy
Burning Chrome
The Bridge Trilogy
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep
A Scanner Darkly
Snow Crash

Some of my favourite examples of the genre, though there is a plethora of media out there, there's no point me listing it all.
William Gibson: No Maps for These Territories
Johnny Mnemonic - I. WANT. ROOM SERVICE!
The Matrix
Ghost in the Shell - The films and the Anime.
Bladerunner - One of the best live-action depictions, a film that gets everything right... in the Final Cut at least.
Robocop - Bitches... LEAVE
Cyberpunkreview has an excellent back catalogue of films.
